Dawson's Creekissa Jack McPheetä esittävä Kerr Smith oli hiljaittain
Conan: Okay folks, my next guest is one of the stars of the WB series, Dawsons Creek.
Conan: How are you?
Kerr: I am good. I'm a little upset though, you were doing some of my moves.
Conan: Wait, the moves I was doing are moves you do in real life?
Kerr: I was backstage, doing the moves right along with you, you know? And uh...
Conan: If those are really your moves, that's a sad, sad tale my friend.
Kerr: Well, they were moves back in the early 80s.
Conan: Really? You do early eight. Can we just see a little bit of this? A little music please?
Kerr: Well, you know. The most popular, you've got "the wall."
Conan: Now wait a minute! Wait a minute. Those were never, ever dance moves! You were a mime
Kerr: Well yeah, I guess it is nice.
Conan: Yeah they do. There's a frenzy, you Dawsons Creek guys. When you walk through town,
Kerr: It's pretty crazy. We shoot down in Wilmington, North Carolina. We get people coming from
Conan: Like what? Tell things you shouldn't say on TV.
Kerr: This is one thing I definitely shouldn't say, but I'm going to! There was this one woman,
Conan: You should always read a chest before signing it. That's what I always say. Sorry, continue.
Kerr: Okay.
Conan: Al? Al's approving.
Al: So did you sign it?
Kerr: I signed it! The shirt comes off, and she had, you know.
Conan: She showed you everything?
Kerr: She had. rather large boobs, okay? So I was like, well, I'll put "Kerr" on one boob and "Smith"
Conan: What an odd detail! I hope this was a felt tip.
Kerr: Well, you know .
Conan: Go on. Now, um, this is a strange phenomenon, let's discuss this. Dawsons Creek, a guy to
Kerr: How do you think? The gay ray.
Conan: I like how your character came down with the old gay, you know. It's like the common cold or something.
Kerr: You know, I've actually developed a little bit of gaydar, playing Jack. It's kind of strange.
Conan: Right.
Kerr: But yeah, when I first got hired, I was like, "Sweet. This is gonna be great. I'm gonna be
Conan: Swirling tongues!?
Kerr: Well, yeah.
Conan: What are you, mixing a drink? What are you doing?
Kerr: Well.
Conan: If that's your line with the ladies, maybe you weren't going to be doing so much. Let's swirl
Kerr: I never said I had a good wrap!
Conan: Yeah. Okay. Then, when that fails, back to the mime poppin! Ill get her back now! But,
Kerr: Well, you know, we knew right off the bat that everybody wanted to see Dawson and Joey together,
Conan: Theres probably a better term for that, but anyway.
Kerr: Well, yeah.
Conan: We could uh, we could move on.
Kerr: ) I guess I could have worded that better.
Conan: Yeah.
Kerr: Yeah.
Conan: So uh...
Al: I.. I think it's made it a richer show.
Conan: I'm sure it has! So do you ever think they might turn your character, your character might get hit
Kerr: You know, Ive.
Conan: I guess they can do whatever they want, you know?
Kerr: Ive pitched several story lines. I pitched the story line where Michelle Williams and I get together.
Conan: Right.
Kerr: Um, so that happened. That was.
Conan: I love that you're hanging out in the writers room a lot. "What if a hetero-lightning bolt hit me? Blew my
Kerr: No hetero-lightning bolts.
Conan: Uh, you're a bit of a practical joker, I'm told.
Kerr: Yeah, Ive been known to throw a few out there, yeah.
Conan: And, uh describe one. You do these on the set of Dawsons Creek to sort of, lighten the mood.
Kerr: All the time. Well, everybody knows Josh Jackson. He and I will uh, throw an occasional moon out there.
Conan: You throw an occasional moon out there, yeah.
Kerr: Well throw an occasional moon, you know, uh... I played this joke on Katie once, where there was this
Conan: Right, they freak when they see something like that!
Kerr: Yeah. And now she.
Conan: Trust me. I KNOW. Cause I too, have put a sock in my pants. Dah! (sighs) Why did I have to add
Kerr: Oh yeah.
Conan: Before your character, or on a different show.
Kerr: On a different show. My first one ever actually. This is kind of embarrassing. It was on As the World
Conan: So you are able to talk people into this? You put your tongue, you had your tongue in, okay. Is that
Kerr: Well, that's the problem. They did know my tongue was in there and hers was, you know, vice versa.
Conan: First off all, he's the director, so you shouldn't be like, "Dude." "Dude! Why dont you just chill?" Well,
Kerr: 27th, yes.
Conan: People should check that out. Kerr, thanks for coming by. Really fun having you here.
Kerr: Thank you very much.
Conan: Kerr Smith!

Kiitos CapesideNews.de-saitille!
And starting April 27th, you can see him in the film, The Forsaken. Please welcome, Kerr Smith.
Let's just see what youve got, come on.
for a time! You were not. Now uh, ladies like you, that's a nice thing that you've got going for you.
the ladies, very happy I've heard, heh, heh, heh. I dont even know what I'm saying! But anyway.
Is this true? Is this the case? Do you create a frenzy sometimes?
all over the world. I've had some crazy things happen to me down there.
she was about, I dont know, 25, and she was like, "Can you sign my chest?" And I was like,
"Well, let me think about it. Sure, yeah. Why not?" So uh.
on the other boob, and you know, they were so soft, the pen was like sink, it was ridiculous, but...
get cast in Dawsons Creek, it's a very lucky thing. Your character Jack, starts out straight, and you
gotta think you're hitting the jackpot when that happens. Then they decide that your character should
become gay. How did you feel about this news when they said, "We're shooting you with the old gay ray"?
swirling tongues with Katie Holmes for a couple years."
a little tongue-a-roo! You know, I dont think that's gonna maybe.
so you must have not been happy.
so I'm standing there like a smuck, you know? So what do we do? Well, the executive producers come
down and they say, "What do you think if we take your character down a different avenue?" And I was like,
"What road would this be?" Um, you know, "Well, what do you say we make your character gay?" And
I was like, "Well, uh, don't be on a hit TV show, or suck it up and be gay." You know, what do you do?
on the head with a brick or something, and you know, "not gay anymore!" Can they do that?
clothes off and Katie Holmes and I" And they're like, "Get out of here! Dont come back in here again!" All right.
Give us an example.
one episode where she was painting me in the nude. So I had to spend the entire day worse than naked.
You know, I had this little patch of, well, huge patch of cloth over my business. And in the rehearsal, I had
a robe on. I had wardrobe stuff a sock for me, you know, and it was like a 3 foot… it was ridiculous. So I stuffed
it down in my boxers and we're in rehearsal and the robe falls off and this thing just slinks out. And Katie Holmes,
being the sweet person that she is, just freaked. I mean, she was so embarrassed. And she didnt talk to me
for the rest of the day.
that part? Did you ever get to do a heterosexual love scene though?
Turns, a long time ago. Character named Ryder Hughes, best porn name in the soap opera business. It's
weird. Jordana Brewster was my co-star, and we had this make-out scene. And you know, we were swirling tongues.
really necessary in a love scene? I mean, no one really knows if your tongues in there or not. So that's your
own perverted thing you were working on.
And the director walks out of the booth, actually, he didnt walk out of the booth, he just said over the microphone
in front of 75 people, "Kerr. Take your tongue out of her mouth." I was like, "Dude. Give me a break."
Dawsons Creek is on the WB. Wednesday nights at 8:00. And The Forsaken, this new movie opens April 27th.
